SPHERAG exhibits at the 60th edition of FIMA
Last week we participated as exhibitors in the 60th edition of the most relevant event of the sector: FIMA (International Fair of Agricultural Machinery). We are proud that our city, Zaragoza, hosts a fair of this quality and dimensions, recognized nationally and internationally, we could not miss it!
The activity has been very intense and the affluence has been massive. During these days we have had the opportunity to share experiences and points of view with our colleagues from RIS Iberia and Metos, with whom we have shared space, and to receive feedback from distributors, installers, farmers, irrigation district administrators and other professionals in the sector.
They have been very enriching days in which, in addition to making professional contacts, we have had the opportunity to learn first hand the needs and concerns of the people of the countryside.
Agricultural digitalization is unstoppable
At FIMA 2024 we have had the opportunity to see how the digitization of the agricultural sector is advancing strongly and to perceive the strong commitment of all the agents involved with this transformation.
There have been many technical conferences promoted by different entities and the issue of digital transformation has been a cross-cutting theme.
Álvaro Velasco, CSO of SPHERAG, participated in the “AGRO-CLUSETR INNOVATION SUMMIT: DEVELOPING THE AGRICULTURAL FUTURE” organized by CAMPAG (Clúster Aragonés de los Medios de Producción Agrícolas y Ganaderos) with the collaboration of ZINNAE and i+Porc. On the first day, dedicated to water as a source of innovation, Álvaro presented several success stories in which the solution developed by SPHERAG has led to significant water savings and improved crop yields in different scenarios.
AgroBank Caixa Bank, also invited us, as a disruptive company in the agrotech ecosystem, to show how SPHERAG is able to provide a simple and efficient digital solution to address the challenge of water scarcity in agriculture.
SPHERAG presents novelties at FIMA 2024
FIMA 2024 has also been the ideal setting for the presentation of our new products: the expansion of the multi-device experience of our platform and the development of a solution specifically designed for irrigation districts.
