The Transformative Power of Technology at Telefónica Innovation Day Zaragoza 

Digitalization is transforming all economic sectors, and this is just the beginning! 

The ability of technology to improve all of our daily lives is something that fascinates us, and being a member of the Tourism Innovation Hub, driven by Telefónica, allows us to showcase the versatility and efficiency of our developments beyond the agricultural sector. 

This week, we participated in Telefónica Innovation Day Zaragoza, an event for presenting technological solutions from the Hub’s innovative ecosystem, such as SPHERAG. 

The futuristic architecture of Mobility City, the Pabellón Puente in Zaragoza, was the ideal setting for a day where the stars were big data, IoT, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. 

Digital Innovation in the Tourism Sector 

Telefónica Innovation Day Zaragoza coincides with the company’s centenary, during which it has never lost its capacity for innovation, always seeing “what everyone has seen and thinking what no one has thought.” 

An example of this capability is its commitment to the sustainable development of tourist destinations through technological innovation. 

Our colleagues Rafael González de Lucas and Cristina Vitallé had the opportunity to show more than a hundred event attendees how SPHERAG’s technology makes it easy to optimize a key resource in tourist destinations: water.
