Spherag keeps growing: France, here we come
We’re very excited to announce a new milestone in Spherag’s journey: our strategic expansion into the French market.
This is not just a new location on the map — it’s the consolidation of a path we’ve already been building, strengthening our ability to directly support clients and partners in one of Europe’s most important agricultural markets.
Our goal is to be even more connected to the reality of French farmers, respond more quickly, and continue adapting our solutions to the specific needs of each farm.
Bertrand Lespinasse, experience and innovation
For this new stage, we’re joined by Bertrand Lespinasse, who will lead the strategic development of Spherag in France.
Bertrand brings a well-rounded profile in the irrigation sector, combining technical expertise with a strong commercial vision. He has held positions such as Technical Director at Kulker, Sales Manager at NaanDanJain, and international roles at Irrifrance. He also has hands-on field experience, having worked as irrigation manager on banana plantations in Ivory Coast. This background gives him a very practical understanding of the challenges farmers face.
As he puts it:

It’s about making irrigation more precise, accessible, and efficient — delivering the right amount of water at the right time, meeting the real needs of crops, and optimizing every resource. That’s the path toward more sustainable agriculture, and that’s where I want to create value.»
