It has been exciting to work on the digitalization of one of their properties in Águilas (Murcia), in whose 35 ha, distributed in 21 sectors, they grow lettuce, celery and melon on a rotational basis.
Until now, irrigation and fertilization management of the crops was done in the traditional way: opening and closing valves and controlling fertilization manually, and writing down data on tablets by hand. That is now a thing of the past!
The advanced information collected by the sensors, and sent by the IoT Atlas devices to the Spherag platform, allows precise control of crop status. This allows them to adapt all processes in real time to the specific needs of the crops and the weather.
Now, irrigation and fertigation management is done remotely, from the offices, and based on reliable data.
